Hannah is a dedicated therapist with a passion for seeing children, young adults, and families thrive. She earned her bachelor’s degree in social work from Cornerstone University and later graduated with a master’s degree in clinical social work from Spring Arbor University. Much of her expertise was gained through her work with underserved mothers and families at Alpha Grand Rapids and Grace’s Table where she developed programs to teach emotional, social, behavioral, and academic skills to children; she also facilitated community groups, developed life-skills curriculum for teens and young adults, and collaborated one-on-one with young mothers to support them in reaching their goals.
Hannah has many years of experience working with families in a variety of contexts. She has training in somatic movement and increasing brain-body connection and communication by bringing together language, movement, and emotional expression. Hannah also has training in trauma-informed play therapy and inner child schema and attachment work for both children and adults. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with anxiety, depression, autism, trauma, and other developmental and psychological disorders and differences.
Hannah has witnessed firsthand the healing power of healthy relationships and healthy families. Her personal and professional experiences have fostered a passion for facilitating connections within families, empowering parents, providing nurturing care for children, and supporting young adults as they navigate life transitions.
