Kelly is a Speech-Language Pathologist with over 20 years of experience working with children and adults in clinical and educational settings.  She received her degrees from the State University of New York at Fredonia.  Kelly is trained in Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets (PROMPT), Language Acquisition through Motor Planning (LAMP), and Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS). She also has training in both the Hanen and Kaufman speech therapy protocols, and specializes in the identification of tethered oral tissue and myofunctional  disorders. She has experience with the treatment of apraxia, motor speech disorders, myofunctional disorders, feeding and swallowing difficulty, and social language differences. 

Kelly is passionate about helping children with severe speech difficulties make progress with verbal communication.  She incorporates home program strategies as well as family training into her therapy model as she believes this directly impacts patients’ success in meeting their goals.  Kelly is certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association and licensed by the State of Michigan.
